William Young

William “Bill” Young is a respected leader in the California civil engineering community, with more than 40 years of experience managing large and small design projects from conceptualization and design through construction. Bill’s experience covers a diverse range of community improvement projects, involving parking lot, street, curb, and gutter repairs and improvements; highway design; pavement rehabilitation design, including pervious pavement and interlocking pavers; bioswales and bioretention systems; stormwater BMPs; flood control infrastructure; and irrigation lines. He also has experience obtaining all necessary permits for these projects. His career experience includes three years of field survey, including field topography, boundary, construction staking, and as-built verification for utilities and flood control projects.
