We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join our team as a Licensed Surveyor at our branch office in Roseville, California. As a California Registered Professional Land Surveyor at CWE, you will take leadership on delivering our survey projects by taking a hands-on approach, working with teammates and clients, and optimizing internal processes and standards. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical, management, and interpersonal skills who thrives on delivering precise, high-quality results. The PLS will oversee fieldwork, documentation, deliverables, client relations, and ensure that projects adhere to the CWE Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
Individuals with 5+ years of professional experience, and 2+ years in public infrastructure design, are encouraged to apply. Prepare project concepts through final design plans and quantities for PS&E bid packages. Solve design problems using engineering calculations and following general design standards. Prepare engineering reports related to civil site improvements, storm drainage, water quality, water distribution and transmission systems, pumping systems, pipe lines, utilities, streets and roadways, bikeways, sanitary sewer collection systems, and water and wastewater facilities. Prepare project drawings/designs in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to establish horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, cross sections, and perform earthwork calculations. Serve on project teams under the supervision of CWE Project Managers. Complete assignments on time and within budget and achieve firm’s quality objectives. Interact with municipal and private clients. Interact with multi-discipline and multi-office teams.
