US Bureau of Indian Affairs Fort Peck Indian Reservation Rural Water System

The Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System Act of 2000 was implemented to ensure safe and adequate municipal, rural, and industrial water supply to the residents of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and to assist the citizens of Roosevelt, Sheridan, Daniels, and Valley Counties in Montana to develop safe and adequate water supplies. During the late stages of construction, CWE analyzed the Fort Peck Rural Water System, focusing primarily on the costs associated with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program. CWE examined system appurtenances; reviewed engineering drawings, reports, and applicable statutes; and prepared a final report documenting expected work, costs, and offsets to ensure the system would operate pursuant to statutory limitations.
